Grab your kilt and get walking!

The Deaf Action team will be taking part in this year’s virtual Kiltwalk all over Scotland to raise awareness and funds for the deaf community. After a challenging year, we are thrilled to finally be pushing fundraising efforts again.

The digital shift over the last year has challenged charities to find new ways to support their communities and raise money – luckily, it has made some of our services even more accessible! We are grateful fundraising events like Kiltwalk have went virtual so we can continue raising funds for Deaf Action to deliver services for the 1 million+ people in Scotland with hearing loss. When you donate to Deaf Action, you aresupporting our vision of inclusive communities with equality of rights, access and opportunity, where every deaf person can fulfil their potential and thrive.

Kiltwalk has challenged participants to walk, run, cycle or dance to a distance of their choice. This event is accessible and inclusive to everyone – to sign up visit Scotlands Virtual Kiltwalk. Funds raised will be topped up by 50%, thanks to The Hunter Foundation.

We need your support!

Our staff have been training over the last few months; cycling, walking and running to get themselves ready for the event – keep an eye on our blog and social media channels for training stories.
