5th Anniversary of the BSL (Scotland) Act
Today, we’re celebrating the 5th Anniversary of the BSL (Scotland) Act!
To mark the anniversary, we’re reflecting on how far we’ve come in the last 5 years.
Deaf Action is proud to be part of the BSL (Scotland) Act 2015 Partnership, a group of organisations funded by the Scottish Government to support public bodies in fulfilling their obligations under the BSL (Scotland) Act 2015.
We’re proud to work in partnership with BDA, Deaf Blind Scotland, NDCS, Scottish Government and Impact Funding to support the development of the BSL National plan, and improve BSL accessibility in education and workplaces.
We all share a vision to see Scotland as the best place in the world for BSL users to work, live and visit. There’s lot of work still to be done, so here’s to the next 5 years!
