Located in Deaf Action’s historic deaf centre in Edinburgh, the Blackwood Café & Bar is a relaxed and friendly space for all to enjoy.
Our café bar is open to deaf and hearing people. We are open every Tuesday to Saturday for hot food, drinks, food and events. Come along and socialise in a cosy, friendly and welcoming setting, or grab a bite to eat from our breakfast and lunch menu.

We will also occasionally be open in the evening for selected community events, activities and special occasions. We’ll keep you updated whenever these events are taking place.

Events
There’s always something to enjoy at the Blackwood Bar. We host special events like deaf clubs, bingo, deaf karaoke, pub quizzes and more. Everyone is welcome to our events.
