We are delighted to launch our new service for Scottish landlords and deaf tenants – Safe & Sound. This service offers Scottish landlords and deaf* tenants equal access to information and advice on the property rental market.
We’re supporting deaf tenants by providing BSL video explaining some of the complicated processes involved in renting property, as we aim to make information accessible. Our team of experts can advise on and install specialist equipment, plus we can provide free interpreters to help tenants and landlords communicate.
Landlords can make use of our consultancy service and will be able to sign up to our workshops, where we will offer advice on the support deaf tenants require.
