David Waine is raising money for Deaf Action in memory of his mother, Hilary Daniel, who sadly passed away on the 2nd of March 2015 after her battle with cancer.

“Hilary was a bright, bubbly, happy and positive person who brought so much joy into everybody’s lives she touched. She was selfless and loving and turned every negative into a positive” – David Waine.

On Saturday 25th June, David will be taking on 1954 reps (to represent the year Hilary was born) of boot camp style exercises followed by a half marathon at Edinburgh Bootcamp .

You can read David’s full story and sponsor him on his justgiving page: https://www.justgiving.com/edinburghbootcamp-mymum

We are very grateful that David is continuing to raise money for us to help develop services for deaf and hard of hearing people throughout Scotland.
