Equipment Display Room
- Edinburgh and The Lothians
Each sensory loss is different; every person with a hearing or sight loss will have varying requirements for equipment. We don’t believe in a one size fits all solution which is why we have created a specially designed Display Room to allow you to test, handle and sample products before you buy or agree to install them in your home.
Our main Display Room is located in our Head Office in Edinburgh. We also have a smaller room in the Sensory Support Centre on the grounds of St John’s Hospital** in Livingston.
To come and visit one of our Display Rooms you need to book an appointment. Please fill in the form below, email firstname.lastname@example.org or call the team 0131 556 3128, text them on 0131 5570419 or SMS at 07775 620757. At your appointment you will be met by a member of our staff trained in assessing your needs and explaining how different pieces of equipment work.
We run assessment days every second Monday (if a Public/Bank holiday falls on the Monday, the assessment day will fall on the Tuesday of that week instead). Appointments are available every half hour between 10am – 11.30am and 1.30pm – 3.30pm.
We run assessment afternoons every second Thursday. Appointments are available every half hour between 12.30pm – 3.30pm.
**Please note that the Sensory Support Centre is not in the main building of St John’s Hospital. If you require directions please call and we will be happy to explain how to find it.
If you are unable to visit our office, a member of our staff may be able to visit you at your home. You just need to book a home appointment. Please complete the form below. To qualify for a home visit you will need to live in one of these.
Aberdeenshire, East Lothian, City of Edinburgh, Midlothian, West Lothian.
Please remember we cannot bring sample equipment to your home.
