NHS Health Scotland launches ‘r u ok?’ series in BSL for young people.

Deaf Action have produced five BSL version clips for NHS Health Scotland.  The supporting guide ‘r u ok?’ was produced by  NHS Health Scotland to be a supporting guide for parents, carers, teachers, play workers and others working with 8–12 year-old’s. Click on the links below to view each clip.

1. R U worried? – Worry and anxiety
2. R U Sad? – Sadness
3. R U Friends? – Friendship issues
4. When someone dies… – Bereavement and loss
5. Family break-ups – Parental break-ups

The topics covered by the clips were chosen because children have indicated that they are areas of particular concern. Hard copies of the leaflets are available from your local health promotion department.
