Help Deaf Action win £1,000

Nominate Deaf Action and help us win £1,000 from Movement for Good award to go towards deaf friendly face masks!

The increasingly widespread use of face masks during the (Coronavirus COVID-19) is presenting significant challenges for deaf people who rely on non-verbal cues, facial expressions and lip reading to communicate.

Philip Gerrard CEO at Deaf Action says: ‘Deaf Action is exploring several prototypes of face masks with clear windows and is seeking funding opportunities to help roll them out to deaf people in the wider community. We are delighted to be part of Ecclesiastical’s Movement for Good awards, £1,000 could make a real difference’!

Deaf Action is encouraging people to nominate them to be in for a chance to win £1,000 as part of specialist insurer Ecclesiastical’s Movement for Good awards.  Nominations are open until Sunday 24th and May. Winners will be drawn at random and the more times Deaf Action are nominated the more chance we have of being selected!
