Today we were sad to say farewell to our Youth Work Coordinator, Alex Furneaux. Having originally come to Deaf Action as a student social worker, he stayed on to establish our successful Youth Service, which has gone from strength to strength over the last 3 years.
However, the calling of social work was too strong and he is now returning to that profession.
We decided that combining his two passions of Lego and Star Wars would be a fitting leaving present, and would like to take this opportunity to wish him all the best in his new journey.
